The major features on the EEE pad slider SL101 include its 10.1″ WXGA IPS LED back lit capacitive multi touch display with a resolution of 1280 x 800. This gives the viewer sharp HD quality images from a 178 degree angle. The display is covered with scratch resistant corning gorilla glass.

The Keyboard Is a Winner
I like the intuitive feel that the slide out keyboard gives it. If you’re one of those who find touch screens awkward then you’ll be right at home with this keyboard. You can even slide it out and set the tablet on your lap. It’s just that comfortable. I was also quite impressed by the simplicity of the interface and its ease of use. Navigating around the home screen was easy unlike some other tablet devices.
The touch screen works just fine, no hang ups, no annoying freezes. I do feel the keyboard could have been a bit bigger though. As easy as it is to use, it still took me a little while to get used to it. However it was smooth sailing once I did. The speakers are a bit disappointing but what do you expect from a tablet?
The screen has this annoying knack for picking up smudges and fingerprints but they are quite easy to clean up. The coating of the body looks like it might not be so durable.
